Biohazard Safety Box

Biomedical waste should not be packed in generic shipping cartons – it must be done using properly controlled, labelled packaging. Boxpool LLP specializes in manufacturing and exporting Biohazard Safety Box units for use by medical distributors and healthcare providers throughout the UAE where compliance, visibility and puncture resistance are critical. The structure has been constructed out of very high-strength boards that maintain their integrity throughout the collection, temporary storage and transportation of the waste contained within. As a further safety feature, there is a locking mechanism that provides further protection from accidental opening after the box has been filled with waste. The front of each unit has a flat space for the placement of printed biohazard identifiers, while an additional flat area with colour coding corresponding to the disposal requirements for the type of biohazardous material contained within that unit. The units also remain stable when used to contain sharps containers and laboratory disposables. Due to their flat delivery, they can be easily bulk stocked for use in hospitals and clinics; yet they are designed for quick and easy assembly at the installation site; safe handling by staff members; and efficient, controlled movement through the medical waste management system.
