Mug Packing Box Details
Firstly, ceramic mugs do not break due to the distance travelled, but will break as soon as any sideways force is applied to them.
Boxpool LLP designs and manufactures/enables the export of carton (packing) boxes for the UAE market to use in retail & gifting channel which both locks the handle in place and prevents movement of the mug inside the box during shipment by courier.
The partitions' height and width are based on the actual diameter and height of the mug so that the top edge of the rim does not touch the top panel while being compressed. The board grade is chosen based on the total packed weight and drop-off points in the delivery cycle between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The crease depth provides square sides at the retail display level and enables unbroken tape application from the packing tables. The print area is properly sized so that the image of the product, the product's capacity, and the barcode is legible after being printed.
The supply of all cartons as flat-packed (bundled) reduces the rack space utilized by distribution centres and minimizes the time it takes to convert these flat-pack cartons into ready-to-go carton packs immediately after the daily shipment cut-off at the distribution centre.
