In the UAE, almost all dispatch lines are using plain brown cartons, as these types of cartons are transported at a high rate of speed; they stack well; and they do not require additional packing time prior to shipment. The selection of flute type is made to provide compression resistance, so there is no potential for boxes below to crush under products being placed on top. The crease lines will be located in the same location so that cartons can be folded quickly at packing stations. The outer surface of the carton will accept stamping, labeling and strapping without damage. The size of cartons is designed to the most common shipping dimensions to avoid excess void space that would exist inside the carton. The flat bundle shipment method permits bulk users to stock higher quantities of cartons in limited area and convert into ready cartons required by daily packing schedule.
